Discovered by the surfers during the 70`s, Rosa has surf as the “national sport”.  The wave quality, those that break with any wind at both ends of the beach, attracts visitors, not just from Brazil, but from all over the world. 

The Rosa sand has already been a stage for a WCT World Surf Championship round.  The beach also hosts two really well equipped surf schools, that teach with know how and security, the basics of the sport for those that have never stepped on a board before.

Other sports practiced in the region are Windsurfing and Kitesurfing (Ibiraquera Lake).
