The Lua Marinha is set apart from any other place you have ever tried before. On the Ibiraquera Lake, in Praia do Rosa, a rustic building hosts delicacies from the sea, prepared by the Chef Taís Muradas. The Taís Recipes have a Spanish influence but the originality is completely Brazilian… Notably, the Grated Oysters with Pineapple and Peppermint, or for those that prefer stronger emotions, the El Diablo Octopus is the right choice. The “Lua” ambience is known by the regulars, it is a particular attraction. From the wooden deck, you can appreciate the fishermens’ canoes dancing together on the waters edge: those very canoes that supply the prawns used in the kitchen. At night, a fireplace and lanterns reinforce the comfort sensation. A very good wine menu, reinforces the funky, yet chic concept that Lua Marinha has. The restaurant was even mentioned in the New York Times, and recently received (for the second year running) a one star in the highly respected, Guia 4 Rodas. The Lua Marinha is located by the Lagoa de Ibiraquera. To go there, you must follow the signs or ask in your Pousada the best way! Go and visit, you`ll love it. |
